Technological advantages of Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor

(1) With high volume load and compact land saving, the existing sewage treatment plants (facilities) can be upgraded and transformed significantly. Without increasing the land area, the existing facilities can be simply transformed, and the sewage treatment capacity can be increased 2-3 times and the effluent water quality can be improved. The mobile bed biofilm process covers an area of 20-30%.

(2) Strong impact resistance, stable performance, reliable operation. The impact of shock load and temperature on the flow-bed process is much less than that on the activated sludge process. When the composition of sewage changes or the toxicity of sewage increases, the biofilm is strongly stressed.

(3) The stirring and aeration system is easy to operate and maintain. The aeration system adopts perforated aerator system, which is not easy to block. The agitator adopts banana-shaped agitator blade, which has a soft outline and does not damage the filler. The whole mixing and aeration system is easy to maintain and manage.

(4) The biological pool is free of blockage, the volume of the biological pool is fully utilized and there is no dead Angle. Since the packing and water flow can be mixed in the whole volume of the biological pool, the possibility of blockage of the biological pool is fundamentally eliminated, so the pool capacity is fully utilized.

(5) Flexible and convenient. The flexibility of the process is reflected in two aspects. On the one hand, you can use a variety of pool type (depth and radius can be), and do not affect the processing effect of the process. On the other hand, different filling rates can be flexibly selected to achieve both high efficiency and long-term expansion of treatment scale without increasing the pool capacity. For the modification and upgrading of the original activated sludge treatment plant, the fluidized bed biofilm process can be easily combined with the original process to form the activated sludge - biofilm integration process or the fluidized bed activated sludge combination process.

(6) Longservice life. The high quality and durable biological filler, aeration system and water outlet device can ensure the long-term use of the whole system without the need to replace, low depreciation rate.

Process characteristics of Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor

The filling rate of biological filler in the reactor was up to 67%.

In an aerobic reactor, aeration causes the biological filler to flow (or suspend) with the water in the reactor throughout the reactor.

In an anaerobic reactor, stirring causes the biological filler to flow (or suspend) along with the water mass in the reactor.

Process physical elements: tank body (various shapes and materials), packing, mixing facility (aeration or diving mixing), outlet device (various forms of screen).
